Why this name?

Stoked is a word from surf culture that refers to the feeling of extreme happiness you can experience on a wave or on the face of a mountain.

Objective : enjoy the playgrounds that the planet offers us by minimizing our impacts on it.

The Oxbow Stoked Planet program can be broken down into several aspects:

  • The 4 major commitments that Oxbow is making to help slow down global warming and protect the environment and human beings
  • A wide selection of products with an eco-responsible dimension
  • numerous articles about various CSR subjects such as advices on how to consume better, etc..

Oxbow B Corp Certified

Thanks to the commitment of all our teams and after several years of research, effort, successes and failures… Oxbow is now certified B Corp.

What does it mean? It means that Oxbow is a company that meets high standards of social and environmental performance, legal responsibility, and transparency.

A company committed to benefiting for all stakeholders: employees, customers, the community and the environment.

B CORP is more than a label, it is also a movement of companies with a positive social and environmental impact. A global movement in favor of a more inclusive, equitable and regenerative economy.

Becoming B Corp certified is a key step in our transformation, but it is not an end in itself.

We still have a long way to go and many projects to carry out.

Together, let’s try to be the best for the world and not the best in the world

Our approach :

To reduce the environmental impact of our products, we relocated a part of our production to Europe and France.
This is a first step and a way of showcasing local know-how, which is sometimes forgotten after years of relocation.

At the same time, for several seasons we have been looking at alternatives to conventional materials such as GOTS cotton, Yulex and Repreve.

Our approach results in a selection of products based on their environmental, social and health aspects.
