SERENDIP

"Serendipity, or the art of finding things without looking, using your wits. Marie-Anne Paveau

The word serendipity comes from Serendip, the ancient transcription of Sri Lanka.
The latter is itself made up of the Sanskrit Sri, meaning "sovereignty, wealth, brilliance", and Lanka, originally Langkâ, which has been traced back to the Greek lagkanein, meaning "to obtain by fate". Serendip is therefore a land blessed by the gods, where fortune seems to be offered to everyone.

Alex and Simon have been friends for more than 10 years, following a trip that lasted several months and whose first destination was Sri Lanka, where they experienced some unforgettable moments.

What they share above all is the need to be in the right place at the right time. In nature, through their passions, in the ocean, through surfing, they manage to give meaning to this perpetual quest for harmony, however rare and brief it may be.

Sometimes by instinct, often by serendipity, sometimes for hours on end, often for just a moment, it's their way of feeling alive.

They reunited for this edit, each using his own talent...
