Malhas Sonix is a textile company founded in 1966. They have continued to develop over time, which has allowed them to endure for over 50 years. They have been among the forerunners in terms of social, environmental and even consumer protection involvement. They were the first Portuguese company to obtain the Oekotex STeP (Sustainable Textile Production) certification with the highest level of certification (3)
They are also at the forefront in terms of technological equipment, and even have an in-house laboratory to perform physical and chemical tests on their productions.
All these developments allow them to ship more than 200,000 garments to the world market.
All of these feats currently allow them to produce approximately 10,000kgs per day of knitwear products.
As mentioned above, they were ahead of their time. Today, the offices are heated with steam from the dye house, solar panels. In addition, they harvest rainwater.
