The company exists since 1930, initially under another name: SANIA.

Then from 1999, Yana Bulgaria started as a knitwear factory for Men, Women and Children.

In the year 2000, the factory was modernized by purchasing Shima Seiki machines, in order to launch an international development strategy.

During the 2000s, the factory was gradually equipped with new machines to increase its production and the quality of the products.

Yana is a company involved in the environmental, social and sustainability aspects of its products.

In 2009, Yana set up an energy saving system for water.

It is concerned with providing a favorable working environment, respect for human rights with fair remuneration, the prohibition of child labor and discrimination.

This company adheres to the BSCI platform by signing the annual code of conduct, and it is also certified OEKO-TEX standard 100, certifying that the products are not harmful to health.

The company now has 2,500 employees. It is a leader in the Balkan region in the manufacture of fabrics and knitwear with a production capacity of approximately 4 million pieces per year.
